Testosterone has long been known for its adverse effects on men's intelligence.
I am inviting you to write a review on this extremely hot topic.
A recent study from the Yale School of Medicine showed that a high level of testosterone can lead to a catastrophic loss of brain cells(Estrada et al, 2006,Elevated Testosterone Induces Apoptosis in Neuronal Cells, J Biol Chem,281, Issue 35, 25492-25501). Moreover, high serum testosterone levels are negatively correlated with fluid intelligence* in men (Tan and Tan, 1998, Curvelinear Correlations Between Total Testosterone Levels and Fluid Intelligence in Men and Women, Int J Neuroscience, 95:77-83).

Pode parecer impossível, mas há quem consiga juntar testosterona e inteligência em doses consideráveis...

Com certeza... É sempre o travesti quem fala pelo nome Tatiana Romanova, tendo por isso a vantagem de ter os pontos de vista masculino e feminino com igual propriedade.

Just to be fair, Ehrlich's team also tested the "female" hormone, estrogen. "We were surprised," Ehrlich says, "but it actually looks like estrogen is neuroprotective. If anything, there is less cell death in the presence of estrogen."
So an excess of testosterone kills brain cells, but estrogen keeps cells alive?

Se as mulheres regessem o mundo, mais tarde ou mais cedo começaria uma guerra tão violenta, tão sangrenta e tão bárbara, que matavam-se umas às outras até morrerem todas.
Digo-te sinceramente, há certas alturas (cada vez mais) em que só mesmo a beleza é que vos safa... E só safa algumas... De resto, não tenho dúvidas que os homens são mais leais, transparentes e fraternos. No fundo, a homossexualidade (entre os homens) é uma virtude; o problema é que não se consegue fugir ao que se é, logo é preciso aceitar quando se é heterossexual... :)
